Each year painters across the state gather in Southport to be inpsired by the riverfront community's lovely scenery and to paint 'en plein' - or in the open air. Guests are welcome to enjoy a reception, meet the artists, and observe the creative painting process in a variety of styles. The weekend event includes live acoustical music, a wet paint sale, painting sessions for the kids, and food trucks.
